Child Sex Abuse Lands West Chester Man A Guilty Verdict
Luis Miguel Aguilar Dircio was convicted of sex offenses that began when the girl was seven years old in West Goshen Township.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 40-year-old West Chester man was convicted in the Chester County Justice Center of sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl from Honduras in West Goshen Township, prosecutors said Friday.
Luis Miguel Aguilar Dircio is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $350,000 bail awaiting sentencing by Judge Patrick Carmody on charges of aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.
During the trial, witnesses said Dircio paid for the victim and her mother to be brought to the United States from Honduras in April 2018.

The victim reported to police that twelve days after she arrived, the defendant began to sexually abuse her and the abuse continued for three years while her mother was asleep or at work.
District Attorney Deb Ryan said the victim believed that coming to the United States was an opportunity for a new, safe life, and instead, was met with horror and abuse.

“The defendant took advantage of the child by inflicting horrific abuse and by threatening the life of her father if she reported it,” Ryan said after the verdict.
