Christkindlmarkt And Menorah Lighting This Weekend In West Chester
Parking is free and Gay Street will be closed all day for vendors to set up and sell crafts and more.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Holiday festivities this weekend in downtown West Chester include an outdoor market and candlelight of a Menorah.
Gay Street will be closed for four blocks to showcase more than 75 vendors with local products.
“This upcoming weekend is an exciting one, with West Chester’s 2-Day Christkindlmarkt moving outdoors this year for the very first time and to a new location,” said Katie Walker, president of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce.

The Chester County Art Association and Downtown West Chester are hosting the 4th Annual Christkindlmarkt on Gay Street, between Darlington and Matlack streets.

The outdoor holiday market is free to the public and will feature over 75 stall holders offering individually handcrafted and locally-designed products, such as art, ceramics, jewelry, homewares, and much more.
Downtown West Chester has a variety of street-level, metered parking and parking garages available.
Opportunities for free parking downtown:
- The Justice Center Garage is free on Saturdays/Sundays.
- Street-level, metered parking is free on Saturday mornings until 5 p.m.
- Street-level, metered parking, and all parking garages are free on Sundays,
Other holiday events in West Chester
- Photos with Santa and free hot chocolate are available from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in front of M&T Bank.
- West Chester Music Academy is performing at 2 p.m. Saturday outside the historical courthouse.
- Menorah Light is at 4:30 on Sunday outside the historic Chester County Courthouse at 2 North High St. The event, hosted by Chabad of Chester County and the Western Main Line, features music, donuts, latkes, hot drinks, crafts, and a fire truck gelt drop.
