“Yvonne Singh put many lives in danger with the extremely toxic mixture of drugs she had for sale as well as her blatant disregard for others when she drove a car under the influence,” District Attorney Deb Ryan said Monday.

The district attorney said fluorofentanyl is an illegal synthetic opioid estimated to be at least 100 times the strength of heroin and responsible for almost two-thirds of overdose deaths in the United States.

In Chester County, a total of 109 individuals died of overdoses in 2021.

“We will not tolerate this poison in our communities,” Ryan said.

According to police:

  • Police said Singh was pulled on a state road after her vehicle crossed over into another lane multiple times and almost struck the center median.
  • After initiating a traffic stop, the trooper observed the defendant to have constricted pupils, slow reactions, and her seatbelt was buckled behind her back.
  • Upon searching the vehicle, the trooper discovered a container that was previously in the defendant’s purse.
  • Inside the container with the mixture of drugs was labeled “High Power.”
  • Singh refused to take a blood-alcohol content test, but admitted to taking narcotics.
  • Field sobriety tests were completed at Brandywine Hospital.
