Crash Cleared On PA Turnpike At Route 29 Downingtown Exit
A 10:45 a.m. crash closed eastbound lanes of Pennsylvania Turnpike for five hours in Uwchlan Township.

UWCHLAN TWP—The eastbound lane of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between the Downingtown exit and Route 29 reopened to motorists after being closed for five hours, according to the Chester County Department of Emergency Services.
The eastbound lane closed to motorists at 10:45 a.m. when three tractor trailers and several sedans collided, state police reported.
One vehicle was pinned underneath the tractor trailer, according to Patty Mains, public information for Chester County EMS.

Five individuals were taken to Paoli Hospital to be treated for injuries, officials said.
