Driver Killed In Crash On Baltimore Pike In Chester County

A crash and vehicle fire on Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township left one person dead early Thursday.

EAST MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP, PA — A vehicle crash and fire left one person dead in East Marlborough Township early this morning, sources reported.

Police said the crash happened in the 900 block of Baltimore Pike when a driver reportedly lost control of their vehicle, according to a 6ABC News report.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said. No other injuries were reported.

Baltimore Pike was shut down between Greenwood Road and Route 52 as investigators remained on the scene. It reopened around 6 a.m.
