Election 2022: Chester County Procedures For Voting
Pennsylvania residents have options to vote at the poll, or by mail in the Nov. 8 election for govenor and other federal and state offices.

WEST CHESTER, PA —Chester County Director of Voter Services Karen Barsoum called on Chesco residents to exercise their right to vote in the November election.
"We ask everyone to make a plan to participate in the upcoming election, to participate in the various methods," Barsoum said, during a recent telephone town hall hosted by the U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan.
Barsourn said her job as the director of voter services is to conduct a fair and secure, accurate and impartial election in Chester County.

Houlahan, a Chester County Democratic incumbent, organized the town hall in response to her office receiving calls and emails from constituents about the voting process.

- Oct. 24 : Deadline to register to vote online and at a local election office.
- Nov. 1: Last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot. Application for absentee ballot is available here. Application for a mail-in ballot is available here.
- Nov. 8: 8 p.m. deadline to return absentee and mail-in ballots. Put your ballot in an envelope with states “Official Election Ballot.” Drop off locations are available here.
Barsourn said Pennsylvania has a permanent status on individuals voting records. Residents who register for mail-in ballots will receive a ballot application in January or February.
Constituents who fill out an application, will be automatically put in the queue to receive mail-in ballots for all elections.
Barsoum said the county government maintains a poll book recording who has voted in each election.
