Election 2023: Paige Simmons Running For Chester County Judge
District Judge Paige Simmons of Chester Springs is running in the May primary for a judgeship in Chester County Court.
WEST CHESTER, PA —District Judge Paige Simmons, a longtime civil court attorney, announced her candidacy to run in the May primary for a seat on the Chester County Court bench.
Simmons said she is thrilled to run for judge and excited for an opportunity to serve the people of Chester County.
There are five judgeships open in 2024 on the 14-judge bench.

Simmons, a Democrat, was elected in 2021 to serve as a district judge in the Exton area of Chester County representing Uwchlan, Upper Uwchlan, West Pikeland, and East Caln townships.
“My professional and community experience and background as the daughter of immigrants is what sets me apart from other judges,” Simmons said. “I share a viewpoint and perspective with many of our Chester County residents that have never been represented on the Chester County Court of Common Pleas."

Simmons said her diverse experiences make the right choice.
As a district judge, Simmons said, she demonstrates every day that she upholds the laws of Pennsylvania and “our great nation while treating all litigants and defendants with dignity, respect, and fairness.”
Simmons said she has handled hundreds of civil cases and served as general counsel for several companies. She also founded The Simmons Law Firm, based in Exton.
Simmons is also active in her community and passionate about her service. She serves on the boards of the Chester County Women’s Commission, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Advisory Board, and the Downingtown Area School District Advisory Board.
Simmons previously served on the barn at Springbrook Farm, Friends Association and the grant committee for The Fund for Women and Girls.
She graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University, Garden City, N.Y. with a bachelor of science in business management and administration, and a law degree from Case
Western Reserve School of Law, Cleveland Ohio.
Simmons is in the process of completing a master’s in public administration at Johns Hopkins University.
Simmons resides in Chester Springs with her Downingtown-native husband, Ashton; their two adult children; one grandchild; and four dogs. She spends her free time walking Chester County’s trails.
