Exton Macy's Hosting Event To Donate Clothing To Kids In Need

Macy's invites shoppers to make donations on Saturday, as the retailer gives away 125 kids clothing items to Partners in Outreach.

EXTON, PA — Macy's at the Exton Mall on Saturday is helping a non-profit provide clothing to kids in need.

Working with local Partners in Outreach, Macy is donating 125 new clothing items as the retailer asks people to come out and make donations while shopping Saturday.

"Macy’s will help make life shine brighter for the Exton community," said Julianne Olivio, of Macy's media relations. "Macy’s is committed to giving back, sharing joy and being there for the community in times of need."

Partners in Outreach representatives will be in-store from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, to share information about the non-profit's mission. Customers are invited to support the outreach by purchasing merchandise to donate for local children who are in need.

In 2019, Partners in Outreach distributed more than 1,500 brand new outfits to families throughout Chester County and the surrounding areas. It is a local 501(c)3 organization committed to providing opportunities to service others with love, integrity and humility.

Partners in Outreach fosters relationships by facilitating the connection between communities who are in need and those who can give. Additional information is available at partnersinoutreach.org.

The event begins at noon at Macy's at Exton Square, near the East Lower Level Mall entrance, at 245 Exton Square Mall, Exton.
