Exton Man Charged In Drunken Driving Crash That Injured 5
Reginald J. Loper, 24, is in Chester County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing following the June 18 crash in West Chester.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 24-year-old Exton man is in Chester County Prison Friday on charges of drunken driving and causing a crash in which five victims were injured in West Chester.
Reginald J. Loper is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $100,000 on charges of aggravated assault while driving drunk and related charges.
Five victims were taken to Paoli Trauma Center to be treated for injuries, according to police.

Loper was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the West Chester police department.
Police said he has a blood-alcohol content of 0.16 percent when he was in a two-vehicle crash just before 4 p.m. on June 18. In the 700 block of Downingtown Pike.

In Pennsylvania, an individual is considered legally intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent.
West Chester Fire Department and Good Fellowship Ambulance responded to the scene.
