Exton Man Charged With Strangulation, Simple Assault
West Whiteland Township Police report an Exton man is charged with strangulation and simple assault after an incident on Saturday night.
WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — An Exton man has been charged with Simple Assault and Strangulation after an incident on Saturday night.
Law enforcement reportedly went to an Exton address at 10:30 p.m. and the police response ended in charges for Andrew D. Shay, 36, of Exton.
West Whiteland Township Police reported Shay is charged with Strangulation and Simple Assault, both misdemeanors, and with Harassment — subjecting another to physical contact, a summary offense.

According to court records, bail was set at $10,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 22.
