EXTON, PA — An Exton senior housing community has helped Uwchlan Ambulance Corps purchase equipment, with a large donation.

Uwchlan Ambulance Corps said the $30,000 donation from Capitol Seniors Housing "will help UAC purchase life-saving equipment needed to keep up with the demands of the growing community."

Uwchlan Ambulance Corps covers eight townships providing lifesaving emergency care to over 65,000 residents. The corps, founded in 1974, has five ambulances, three responder units with highly trained paramedics and EMTs who respond to over 3,500 emergency calls annually, on call 24 hours a day.
