Four block of Gay Street will be closed every weekend for months in West Chester as the open air market returns.
WEST CHESTER, PA — Four block of Gay Street will be closed for months in West Chester as the open air market returns to downtown.
The closure will be in place every weekend from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, Sept. 29, from Matlack Street to Darlington Street.
It will last from each Friday morning through Monday morning.

Residents and visitors will once again have the chance to shop and eat on the street while exploring the heart of town without traffic.
Dozens of local businesses will participate, with special booths and seating outside, as well as outdoor displays, live music, events and games for kids, and more.

Details on entertainment and specials for each weekend will be announced as the date of the first weekend of the market draws nearer.
