Grabbing An Officer’s Weapon Lands Chesco Woman In Jail, Police Say
Paige Lafferty is accused of grabbing an officer's gun and kicking the officer on Wednesday afternoon in downtown West Chester.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A 31-year-old Oxford woman is in Chester County Prison Thursday on charges of grabbing a police officer’s gun and kicking the officer.
Police said Paige Lafferty was lying unconscious Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 in the 300 block of West Chestnut Street.

When officers arrived, they began speaking with Lafferty who they said became combative.
She then grabbed an officer's gun and kicked the officer. Lafferty was then subdued and taken to District Court in West Chester.

She was arraigned before District Judge Bret Binder on charges of aggravated assault and public drunkenness.
Bail was set at $50,000.
