Half Days and "Brave:" This Week in West Chester

Take a look at what’s happening in the West Chester area this week:

Zoning: The borough’s zoning hearing board will be meeting Monday night, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Borough Council: There are two borough council meetings on the agenda this week. The first, a work session meeting, is on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., and a general session meeting on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. 

School’s Out: Students rejoice (and parents get ready). West Chester Area School District schools will have a half-day on Friday for a teacher in-service day. 

Pumpkins Everywhere: The East Goshen Pumpkin Festival will take place at East Goshen Park on Saturday (Oct 19) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Be “Brave:” West Goshen Township is showing its fall movie, Pixar’s “Brave,” at 7 p.m. Saturday in West Goshen Community Park.
