Hit-and-Run Driver Nabbed In Caln Township
State police at Embreeville investigated a weekend hit-and-run accident on Route 30
CALN TWP — State police charged a 68-year-old Coatesville woman in a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 2:20 p.m. Saturday in the eastbound lane of Route 30 at the intersection of North Bailey Road here.
Barbara A. Toebe was charged on Sunday with hit-and-run after police obtained her license plate number and tracked her down, troopers said.

A 53-year-old Coatesville man, who was not identified, was driving eastbound in the left on Route 30 Bypass when Toebe tried to pass the vehicle from the right lane.
Toebe’s vehicle struck the passenger side of the unidentified driver's vehicle, and fled.

The following day, troopers contacted Toebe,who admitted striking the vehicle.
No one was injured and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
