The Natural Resources Defense Council's (NRDC) data shows 21 states —
including flood-prone states like Florida and West Virginia — have no
flood disclosure requirements. Home sellers are required by law to
disclose any damage/defect to a home buyer, however in absence of the
laws, buyers need to be ask questions to be protected.
