Hundreds Of Chester County Mail-In Ballots Challenged: Reports
A Chester County resident reportedly paid $10 per challenge, claiming the voters did not have Pennsylvania residency.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Hundreds of mail-in ballots in Chester County and thousands more across Pennsylvania were challenged in what authorities are calling a "bad faith" attempt to question their residency, according to election officials and multiple media reports.
More than 200 voters who are registered in Chester County but live elsewhere, including a graduate student and the spouse of someone in the military, were challenged, the New York Times reports.
The Associated Press says the challenges, which cost $10 to file per voter, were filed by the same Chester County resident, Diane Houser.

The Chester County Elections Board rejected every single one of the challenges, stating that all individuals who were challenged had valid reasons to hold Pennsylvania residency and to vote by mail from another location.
Hearings for numerous other counties have not yet been held, and resolving those challenges could last well beyond Election Day.
