Illegal Weapons In Chester County Results In Conviction For Philly Man
Ramon Cook was convicted by a jury of illegally possessing weapons.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A jury convicted a 27-year-old Philadelphia man of possessing two weapons when he was forbidden from having a weapon because of he was previously convicted of robbery.
Ramon Cook was returned to Chester County Prison to await sentencing on charges of weapon offenses
District Attorney Deb Ryan said Cook had already been convicted of serious felony charges and still intentionally possessed firearms-one of which he stole.

“We have zero tolerance for the illegal possession of firearms in this county,” the district attorney said.
On Aug. 31, 2021, a Parkesburg woman reported to police that two handguns, registered to her, were taken from her apartment located in the borough.

The victim reported that on Aug. 25, 2021, the defendant came to her apartment to visit, and when he left, she discovered the firearm was missing.
Police said Cook requested money from the victim and threatened to remove the serial numbers from the firearms.
