Jury Says Contractor Raped Downingtown Woman In Her Home
A jury issued a guilty verdict in multiple charges against a man who sexually assaulted a woman in her Downingtown home.
WEST CHESTER, PA — A Chester County jury handed down a guilty verdict this week in a trial for rape charges against a Lebanon County man whom they decided forcibly assaulted a woman in her home when he was hired to work there.
The jury on Friday found Dominic Fratangeli, 38, guilty of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and three other felonies for the 2018 forcible sexual assault of a woman in her Downingtown home.
Fratangeli will be sentenced at a later date.

Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said, “The defendant took advantage of a business relationship to seduce the victim, then raped her when he got inside her home. The victim had the wherewithal to go to the emergency room and have police contacted immediately. Her courage to speak up is what brought the defendant to justice. I commend her bravery.”
Downingtown Police Department investigated the case.
