Juveniles Break Into Vehicles In West Chester: Police
One juvenile was arrested and a second juvenile is on the run in the attempted vehicle theft in West Chester, police said.
WEST CHESTER, PA —A 15-year-old Wilmington, Del., male was arrested on charges of breaking into vehicles in the 500 block of West Marshall Street on May 2.
The juvenile is being held in the Chester County Youth Center awaiting court action.
Police said at 8:30 a.m. they responded to a report of two juveniles trying to break into a vehicle.

Police said when they told the two to stop breaking into the car, one juvenile quickly fled from the scene and was not captured.
The 15-year-old was charged with attempted vehicle theft.

On Sunday, May 10, Guy Evan Fielder, 33, of West Chester was arrested on charges of attempting to break into two vehicles in the 300 block of West Nields Street. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of theft of the vehicle.
Fielder also has another vehicle theft case pending in the Chester County Justice Center.
These suspects were also arrested:
- Jacob R. Azato, 46, of West Chester, is awaiting a preliminary hearing before Judge Marc J. Lieberman on charges of shoplifting numerous times since Nov. 20, 2022, from the Giant Food Store, 698 Downingtown, Pike.
- Christopher M. Carney, 57, of West Chester is free on nominal bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of drunken driving after police responded to a scene of a disabled vehicle in the 100 block of West Market Street, on May 5.
