Juveniles Playing With BB Gun On Playground: Police

Police referred two juveniles to the Chester County Juvenile Probation Office, police reported Tuesday.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Two juveniles were referred to the Chester County Juvenile Probation Office on charges of having a weapon on a school playground in May, Kennett Square police said Wednesday.

Police said on May 5 they were dispatched at 7:40 p.m. to a playground in the 400 block of Magnolia Street, Kennett Square borough police reported.

Officers found several juveniles on the playground who told police that 15 minutes earlier an incident occurred involving a BB gun.

An investigation disclosed that two juveniles were involved in the BB gun incident.

The juveniles were referred to the probation department on June 8 on charges of making terroristic threats, possessing a weapon on school property, and related offenses.
