K9 Unit Fundraiser Set For Saturday At P.J. Whelihan’s, Downingtown
Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team invited the public to a fundraiser is to establish a K9 Unit to assist in crime fighting.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA —Dine Out For Bear, a K-9 dog-in-training fundraiser, is from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at P.J. Wehlihan’s Pub and Restaurant, 833 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
Friends of the Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team invite the community to help establish a K9 Unit.
Bear is a 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd who loves belly rubs, kong chewies, and being the team's "goodest boy."

Donations will help finance Bear’s training to work with the unit of law enforcement officers that are specially trained and equipped to assume critical incidents that exceed the capabilities of local patrol agencies.
Donations will help pay for Bear's patrol school, training, safety equipment, fitting a K9 vehicle and more.
