Last Day To Request A Mail-In Ballot Is Oct. 27: Chester County
The Chesco Elections Board must have mail-in ballot requests tomorrow, and officials remind in-person voters to check their polling places.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Chester County early voting is underway, and tomorrow at 5 p.m. is the last chance to request a mail-in ballot.
Oct. 27 is the Pennsylvania deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot. An application must be received by the Elections Board by 5 p.m. on Oct. 27. Other details about mail-in voting can be found here.
Of Chester County's 380,361 registered voters, 170,224 have requested mail-in ballots as of Monday, county officials said. The county has processed 166,724 of the ballot requests.

Democratic voters requested 94,088 mail-in ballots, while 45,722 Republican voters requested mail-in ballots. Another 19,549 mail-in ballots were request by non-party affiliated voters, and 7,365 were requested by other voters, according to the Chester County.
As of Monday, 165,967 ballots had been mailed out to voters and 106,331 had been returned.

The deadline for returning a completed voted mail-in or absentee ballot is 8 p.m. on Nov. 3. Specifics provide by Chester County Voter Services to ensure your mail-in vote is counted are:
- By mail: Your mail-in ballot must be postmarked by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, and received by your county election office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 to be counted.
- In-person: You must return your mail-in ballot to your county election office or other designated location by 8 p.m. on Election Day. A list of those designated drop-off locations is provided in this story.
Some polling places have been reassigned because of the pandemic, so county officials are reminding voters to check be certain before heading out to vote in person. Chester County polling places are listed by municipality here.
