Boy Scout Troop 154 just landed a promising new member, as Eli Waldman, who's been a Cub Scout since the first grade, has joined the group.
According to a West Chester Patch announcement celebrating the good news:
After earning the Super Achiever Award from Cub Scout Pack 260, Eli has crossed over from Cub Scouting, into Boy Scout Troop 154. Eli joined the Cub Scouts in first grade and has grown not just in size, but into a fine young man with the values and high standards instilled in him through Scouting. The son of well known local Realtor Denny Waldman (Who's also a Scout Leader) Eli also earned the prestigous Arrow of Light Award. This is the highest rank a boy can earn as a Cub Scout and the only Cub Scout award that can be worn on the uniform throughout the rest of his Scouting career. Eli's parents, Denny and Melinda Waldman, as well as his fellow Scouts and his community are very proud of him and wish him well as he reaches his new goals as a Boy Scout. Rock on Eli!!
