Man Accused Of Harassing Two Women, Using Lewd Language
A woman told police a man approached her car at a stoplight, made sexual remarks, and tried to open her door as she rolled up the window.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Two victims who reported being harassed in public identified a West Chester man as the perpetrator, resulting in charges, police said.
Charles Shelton Green, 54, of West Chester is charged with two counts of harassment, with lewd and threatening language.
Police said one of the victims reported on the night of July 1 that a man approached her vehicle while she was stopped at a traffic light on E. Gay and N. High streets. The man reportedly made several sexual comments to the victim. She told police that as she was putting up the window of her vehicle, the man grabbed her door handle. The victim told police she drove off and then reported the incident.

Police went to the area of the incident and spoke to a man matching the description the victim gave them. Officers also spoke with others in the area that approached the police.
Another victim told police that the man they had spoken with had approached her as she was seated on a bench and had made several sexual comments to her.

Both victims later identified Green as the man who had approached them.
A summons was issued for Green to appear in District Court. Green failed to appear for the scheduled hearing on the date set and a hearing was held in his absence with all charges being held over to County Court.
On Tuesday, Green was located and taken into custody. He is charged with two counts of harassment, with lewd and threatening language.
Police said he has been transported to Chester County Prison.
His arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 24.
