Man Violated Protection From Abuse Order, Police Say

A West Chester man is charged with contempt of court after police say he violated an active protection from abuse order.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A West Chester man is charged with contempt of court after police say he violated an active Protection From Abuse order in the borough on Wednesday.

West Chester Police responded to the 200 block of West Marshall Street after an unknown person was reported in a back yard at 1:41 a.m. on March 10.

Keith Foote, 39, of West Chester, was found in the yard, police reported. Police said there is an active Protection From Abuse order against Foote and he was in violation by being on the property.

Foote has been charged with contempt of a court order, a police report said. He awaits a hearing in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas.
