Massage Parlor Manager In West Chester Charged With Prostitution

Meichen Wei Silverstein remains free on $30,000 on charges of promoting and soliciting prostitution.

WEST CHESTER, PA —The manager of Zen Spa, a massage parlor in downtown West Chester, was arrested Wednesday on charges of running a prostitution ring.

Meichen Wei Silverstein,40, of York remains free on $30,000 bail after being arraigned before District Judge Marc. J. Lieberman on charges of promoting and soliciting prostitution.

The spa was closed on Thursday.

According to court records:

  • In November 2022, the West Chester police received information that the massage parlor, known as Zen Spa, 107 N. Church St., may be involved with illegal activity including prostitution.
  • Criminal investigation unit initiated an investigation and determined that acts of prostitution were being solicited by employees of the spa.
  • On Wednesday, police issued a search warrant. Soon after, the manager was arrested.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled later this month.
