New Steakhouse Coming To West Chester In 2024

WEST CHESTER, PA — Diners in West Chester will soon have a new spot for steaks, drinks, and more as 9 Prime plans to open in early 2024.

9 Prime will open soon in the former 1st National Bank location at 9 N. High St. in West Chester.

According to the restaurant's website, it aims to be "the state’s grandest steakhouse."

9 Prime also promises a speakeasy called "Johnny O’s," named after West Chester's John O’Connell.

O'Connell teamed up with Chef Fabio Viviani to open the new joint.

"9 Prime greets its guests with an awe-inspiring display of excellence," the website reads. "The visual beauty is abundant thanks to towering ceilings, mid-century furnishings, marble bars and thoughtfully selected art-deco finishes. An audible ambiance of genial revelry fills the space, while the smell of sizzling plates stimulates the olfactory senses. All this occurs before one’s even seated. Before they taste a dry-aged tomahawk, bone-in branzino, or handmade linguine from Fabio’s decadent menu. A menu that has visitors traveling up and down the east coast to experience."

While full menu details and a grand opening date have not been released, interested diners can test "9Prime to 805-991-5126 to be invited to the VIP grand opening.
