Out-Of-Staters Charged In West Chester Planned Parenthood Sit-In

West Chester Police reported New York men and a woman from Delaware are charged after they refused to leave Planned Parenthood on Friday.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Three out-of-state demonstrators were charged Friday in connection to an incident at Planned Parenthood in West Chester during a planned event.

West Chester Police reported they sent officers to the Planned Parenthood center in West Chester around 8 a.m. on Friday after a disturbance was reported.

Police said the reported disturbance was part of "a staged sit-in" happening at the center.

According to police reports, three demonstrators who were charged with felonies refused to leave the premise after being asked to do so several times.

Charged in the incident is Christopher Moscinski, 51, of Bronx, New York, is charged with criminal trespass, enter a structure; and conspiracy to criminal trespass and enter a structure, both third-degree felonies, as well as with resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor. Moscinski posted his bail of $5,000, court records show.

John Hinshaw, 66, of Levittown, New York, is charged with criminal trespass, enter a structure; and conspiracy to criminal trespass and enter a structure, both third-degree felonies, as well as with resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor. Hinshaw also posted his bail of $5,000, according to court records.

Linda Mueller, 54, of Milton, Delaware, is charged with criminal trespass, enter a structure; and conspiracy to criminal trespass and enter a structure, both third-degree felonies, according to court records. Mueller posted her bail of $2,500.

Planned Parenthood at 8 S. Wayne St. in West Chester operates a Health Center and a Surgical Center; the Surgical Center provides abortions, according to its website.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled in Chester County Court on Sept. 3. for each of the three charged.
