Overnight Shooting In Chester County Was A Homicide: State Police
A man was found shot several times in Sadsbury Township early Wednesday morning and State Police said the fatality is a homicide.
SADSBURY TOWNSHIP, PA —Pennsylvania State Police said today they are investigating a shooting death in Chester County Wednesday morning as a homicide.
Pennsylvania State Police, Embreeville Barracks, were called around 2 a.m. on Wednesday to the 1900 block of Valley Drive in Sadsbury Township in Chester County where a shooting was reported.
Troopers on arrival found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a police report.

The State Police investigation found the man was shot several times. The shooter — or shooters — then fled the scene, police reported.
At this time, there is no danger to the public, said Trooper Kevin S. Kocha, Community Services Officer and Public Information Officer.

Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J Major Case Team is investigating the case as a homicide, with assistance from the Chester County Detectives and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, Kocha said.
Kocha added that for the integrity of the case no further information can be provided at this time, including the victim's name.
