Oxford Man Back In Jail On Stalking Charges
Police said John Kearney was stalking a woman he was previously ordered by the court not to contact.
OXFORD, PA —A 26-year-old man was ordered held for court Tuesday by Oxford District Justice Scott A. Massey on charges of stalking the same woman he was previously court-ordered not to contact.
John Kearney was returned to Chester County Prison in lieu of $75,000 cash bail on charges of stalking and harassment.

- Police said that Kearney had written a letter while he was in prison to the same woman he was previously ordered not to contact
- After Kearney was paroled, police said, he was placed on house arrest.
- In June and September of 2023, an electronic monitoring device showed Kearney near the victim’s home.
- In October, police said, Kearney attempted to contact the victim’s daughter on social media.
