Oxford Man Charged With 8 Felonies In 2019 Drug Case

Police caught up with an Oxford man who eluded a police warrant for 2 years, charging him with drug manufacture with intent to deliver.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A warrant issued in May 2019 related to suspected drug dealing in Oxford has brought a man to Chester County Court yet this week, facing eight felony charges.

After a collaborative investigation between the Oxford Police Department and Chester County Detectives, Wilber Vasquez, 26, of Oxford, faces 16 charges related to the distribution of narcotics. He was brought into police custody the evening of July 24 police said.

Eight of the charges against Vasquez are felonies. He is charged with four counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and four counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

Court records show an arraignment is scheduled Thursday in Chester County Court.
