Oxford Police Officer Hospitalized After Pursuit Of DUI Suspect
The officer was release from the hospital Friday and the suspect is on the run.

OXFORD, PA —An Oxford Township police officer fell down a 20-foot embankment Wednesday, hit his head, and became unconscious during a foot chase of a drunken driving suspect.
The officer was released Friday from trauma center hospital and the suspect, Jamie Jimenez-Juaraz, 34, of Oxford, is wanted on aggravated assault and related charges in connection with the escape from police and the drunken driving warrant.
At 3:45 p.m. in the area of the unit block Niblock Alley, the officer attempted to arrest Jimenez-Juaraz on a state police warrant for charges of drunk driving.

Police said the officer was in a marked patrol vehicle, on duty, in uniform, displaying a badge of authority at the time of this incident.
Jimenez-Juarez surrendered to police, but then fled from the officer on foot, causing the officer to fall down an embankment.
