Parkesburg Post Office Burglarized Monday Night

Police said burglars broke into a Chester County post office after it closed on Monday evening, and detectives have ID'd a suspect.

PARKESBURG, PA — Someone burglarized the U.S. Post Office in Parkesburg after it closed on Monday, police reported yesterday.

Parkesburg Borough Police are investigating the reported burglary of the Parkesburg post office on 167 Brandt St. in the borough. A report said a suspect entered the building on May 10 after the federal building closed.

Evidence police detectives obtained at the scene has helped to identify the suspect, according to a police report. Police said they expect to make an arrest in this case in the coming days.
