Parking, Rooftop Nuisance on W.C. Council Agenda Wednesday

Hot button issues will be on the agenda for June's West Chester Borough Council meeting.


Parking and hanging out on a roof that wasn't designed for hanging out are among the items on the agenda when the West Chester Borough Council meets Wednesday night.

The full agenda as posted on the Borough website includes a proposal to classify people on roofs that aren't designed for it a public nuisance The item is described on the agenda this way: 

Conduct a public hearing on and consider adoption of proposed Ordinance #4-2013 designating non- maintenance occupancy of roofs not designed for occupancy to be a Public Nuisance. (Public Hearing 6-19-13)

Also on the agenda are several parking-related issues, including creating and removing handicapped parking spaces on several streets and approving expenses related to building the South New Street Garage project.
The council meets at 7 p.m. in the West Chester Borough Hall building at 401 East Gay Street.
