Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle Crash In Caln Township
A 76-year-old man was killed Wednesday while walking in a parking lot at the Giant food store.
CHESTER COUNTY A 76-year-old Coatesville man was fatally injured Wednesday afternoon while walking in the parking lot of the Giant supermarket off Route 30 in Thorndale, police said.
Nicholas Busillo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Caln Township police are investigating the cause of the crash.

According to police:
A Dodge Grand Caravan operated by Vickie Sawyer, 66, of Coatesville struck Busillo at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday as he was walking eastbound in the trafficway of the parking lot, 3477 Lincoln Highway.

Caln Township police department was assisted at the scene by the Thorndale Fire Company, Thorndale fire police, Washington Hose Ambulance, Minquas Ambulance and EMS Company, and the Chester County coroner’s office.
