Peek Tulip Blooms At Longwood Gardens In Kennett Square
Visitors can see 200,000 blooms in gardens this week at Longwood Gardens, Chester County's premier tourist attraction.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Spring has sprung at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square and a display of tulip blooms is peaking today now through next week.
Visitors can see 200,000 blooms from tulips and other bulbs along Longwood's Flower Garden Walk, and explore colorful beds of tulips and spring annuals in the Idea Garden.
This year’s rainbow tapestry features blooms from more than 200 varieties of tulips—including single blooms, double blooms, and fringed.

The design is the culmination of months of effort by many talented staff members and volunteers.
In October, hundreds of thousands of bulbs are planted—daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, and more—in preparation for Spring Blooms.

Hours and Admission
Gardens are open Wednesday to Monday from 10 am to 6 pm. Timed admission tickets are required and reservations for members are required from Thursday to Sunday through May 7.
