Police Log: West Chester and West Whiteland Township

Police arrest suspects on charges of drunken driving, driving under the influence of illegal drugs, retail theft and more.

CHESTER COUNTY —Suspects were arrested on charges of retail theft, drunken driving, possessing illegal drugs and related traffic offenses in West Chester and West Whiteland Township.

According to West Whiteland police:

  • Mahogany T. Jones, 18, of Reisterstown, Md., is awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of retail theft. Police said she was shoplifting at a department store in Exton on June 9, according to West Whiteland police.
  • Monica Velcu, 36, of Baltimore, Md. is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of attempted retail theft at the Giantt in Exton on May 16., according to West Whiteland police.
  • Lexus B. Thomas, 24, of Coatesville is awaiting a preliminary hearing after being arrested on June 9 on charges of possessing marijuana and driving with a revoked license on Route 30 in Exton, according to West Whiteland police.
  • Malik L. Fisher, 27, of Flushing, MI, is free on $15,000 bail after being picked up June 13 on a warrant stemming from a retail theft on May 1 at a department store in Exton, according to West Whiteland police.

  • Tiffany Marie Evans, 35, of Dagsboro, DE, is free on $5,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of possessing controlled substances and driving without a license on June 8 after police discovered illegal drugs in a vehicle investigation in the first block of West Market Street, West Chester.
  • Joseph A. Delphais, 24, of Downingtown, is free on nominal bail awaiting a preliminary hearing after being arrested on May 22 for drunken driving and related traffic offenses in the first block of West Market Street.
