Oxford Man Chased Victim With Machete, Borough Police Report
Police in Chester County also arrested suspects on charges of drunken driving, fleeing police and disorderly conduct.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA —A 49-year-old man is accused of chasing another man with a machete during a domestic dispute in the borough of Oxford on Nov. 16, police said Tuesday.
- Drew Henderson of the 100 block of North Fifth Street, Oxford is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possessing instruments of crime. He was arraigned before District Judge Scott A. Massey in Oxford. Police said they interviewed several witnesses about the incident.
Police arrested these suspects:
- Brittney D. Richardson, 33, of West Chester was arrested on charges of drunken driving and failure to stop for a red light on Nov. 12 at the intersection of Matlack and Chestnut streets.
- Sherry L. Hart, 50, of Parkesburg, is free on nominal bail awaiting an arraignment on a charge of drunken driving on Nov. 16 along Strasburg Avenue in Parkesburg.
- Joseph E. Lipkus, 21 of Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, is free on $5,000 bail after being arrested on charges of fleeing police, disorderly conduct, and related offenses. Police said Lipkus struck several vehicles at 2 a.m. on Nov. 10 in the 500 block of Walnut Street. 10. After a police pursuit, Lipkus was located in the 500 block of South High Street.
