Poll: Smoking on the Playground?

Should people be smoking on area playgrounds?

West Chester’s this week discussed the Young Lungs At Play initiative and whether the borough will engage in erecting signs to discourage smoking on playgrounds.

Although Parks and Recreation Director Keith Kurowski said the borough , officials do not plan to draft new ordinance that would allow law enforcement to ticket those who don't heed the signage.

What do you think? Should people be free to smoke on playgrounds? Should the borough put up signs to discourage smoking on playgrounds? Do you think the signs would discourage would-be smokers? Should people who smoke on playgrounds be ticketed? Tell us in the comments.
