Polls Closed At 8 p.m. For The 2023 May Primary In Chester County

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Polls closed at 8 p.m. in the 2023 May primary.

Chester County voters are electing five judicial candidates from each party out of 12 candidates in the primary. Ten of the 12 candidates cross-filed.

Judges are elected for 10-year terms and earn an annual salary of $197,119.

Voters are also electing municipal and school board candidates throughout the county.

There are 374,307 registered voters in Chester County.

Voter turnout was slow throughout the day, according to a Patch sampling of the polls Tuesday.
