Storm Knocks Out Power For 60,746 Chesco Residents: 11 P.M. UPDATE
At 11 p.m., a total of 12,516 customers in Montco were without power, and 32,026 Delco residents were without power.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —A powerful storm brought heavy rain and flooding for motorists during the evening Tuesday night throughout Chester County and left 60,746 customers without electricity at 8 p.m., with heavier rain and high winds still to come.
Emergency responders were called to weather-related traffic, fire and flooding throughout the county, including wires and trees down.
A flood-warning is effect in eastern Chester County from Tuesday night through 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to AccuWeather.

At 10:30 p.m, emergency crews responded to a tree falling on a house in downtown West Chester.
Heavy rain and high wind gusts of 26 mph were reported Tuesday night. A total of 2.08 inches of rain was reported Tuesday at 8 p.m.

PECO warns residents not to touch or move downed wires because they are extremely dangerous
At 8 p.m., PECO reported:
- Chester County has 60,746 outages scattered throughout county, amounting to 28.25 percent of the customers.
- Delaware County has 32,516 customers without power, including 392, in Radnor Township, amounting to 12 percent of the customers.
- Montgomery County has 11,560 customers without power, including 1,158 in Royersford, amounting to less than 5 percent of the customers.

Poles and wires were down throughout the 259-square-mile Chester County.
Dozens of traffic accidents were reported in Birmingham, West Whiteland, Easttown, East Bradford, East Goshen, Willistown, Wesstown, Kennett Square, East Whiteland, West Pikeland, West Vincent, Caln, Valley, Malvern, East Brandywine, Wallace, and Coatesville.
Emergency responders were called for falls and other injuries in Honey Brook, New Garden, Parkesburg, and Thornbury.
