Results of the First Keystone Tests are in for WCASD Students
What parents and students need to know about the tests and the scores.

The results of Pennsylvania's first round of the new Keystone standardized tests are in and were to be mailed home to students in the West Chester Area School District this week.
The new tests, which are being phased in to replace the PSSA tests are a requirement for all high school students students starting with class of 2017 (the class entering ninth grade this fall).
The district posted the following important information about the test results on its Facebook page this week:
The results of this spring's Algebra I, Literature, and Biology Keystone exams have just been released and are being mailed to homes this week.
Scoring Proficient or Advanced on each of the 3 exams is a graduation requirement starting with the class of 2017 (students entering 9th grade this September).
For any student that scored Basic or Below basic, the district is offering online re-testing this summer during the week from July 29th to Aug 1st. Algebra will be on Monday and Tuesday while Biology and Literature will be on Wednesday and Thursday.
Registration will be online and instructions will be included in the results mailing. Review sessions will also be offered the week before re-testing.
