Searchers Find Missing Student's Keys

Searchers on Sunday turned up a clue in their search for 21-year-old Shane Montgomery, according to reports.

The Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit found Montgomery’s keys at the edge of the Schuylkill River, near where he was last seen on surveillance video, the Philadelphia Daily News reported.

A search of the river in the area beneath the Belmont Avenue Bridge was conducted earlier this month after a surveillance camera showed Montgomery leaving Kildare’s and heading towards the Manayunk Canal. That search came up empty.

Montgomery, a West Chester University student, was last seen at Kildare’s Pub on Main Street in Manayunk around 1:45 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. Since his disappearance, a massive search has been launched to find clues and information that will lead to his location.
