Shooter Ambushes, But Misses, Car Occupants In Caln: Police
Two victims were not hit; but the suspect drove away, police said.
CALN TWP, PA —The Caln Township police and Chester County detectives are investigating an early morning ambush-style shooting Wednesday in the parking lot of The Shops at Wedgewood, 4300 block of Lincoln Highway.
Police said the shooting occurred at 1:29 a.m. when all of the businesses were closed.
The victims, Julian Dent, 26, and Ana Allarcon-Aguilera, 26, both of Downingtown, were seated in a vehicle parked at the strip mall.

The vehicle was struck numerous times, but no one was injured.
An individual, described as a male, possibly Black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin build, wearing a red shirt, dark pants, and a ski mask, approached on foot from the rear of the victim's vehicle, and began firing at the vehicle.

The victims fled in their car as the suspect continued shooting.
Investigators are attempting to identify a motive.
