Small Explosion Not First In Neighborhood, Residents Tell Police
A potted plant was the site of an explosion yesterday in West Chester, as neighbors reported this has happened before.
WEST CHESTER, PA — A reported explosion summoned West Chester Borough Police to the 100 block of Locust Alley on Tuesday night to check out a small blast event that neighbor said has happened before.
Around 9 p.m. Feb. 9 police officers at the site a potted plant that they said had been intentionally blown up. A police report said it appeared that a small explosive had been used, but it was not clear what kind of explosive had been used.
West Chester Borough Police reported residents in the area told officers this has happened several times recently.
