Spring City Area Man Wanted For First-Degree Murder

Quinzell Chucky Mickey, 41, has been on the run since early Saturday morning on charges of first-degree murder in a fatal shooting Saturday.

EAST VINCENT, PA —Police are searching for a 41-year-old East Vincent Township man who is charged with first-degree murder in the execution-type slaying of 32-year-old William Stafford on Saturday morning.

Quinzell Chucky Mickey is described as five feet and eight inches tall, weighing 250 to 300 pounds.

County detectives said Mickey is armed and dangerous.

Detectives said Mickey shot Stafford at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot at the Park Springs Apartment Community, near Spring City, where they both resided.

Police said the slaying was captured on the apartment's surveillance camera. A sign alerting the public of a surveillance video taping is outside of the suspect's apartment.

The victim fell to the ground, and the defendant walked over to him, and while standing over him, he shot the victim twice more, police said.

The video also showed the suspect punching the victim after he was shot and on the ground, and then removing unidentified items from the victim’s clothing, according to police.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants, and white sneakers, with a jacket or hooded sweatshirt in his hands.

A motive for the slaying has not been disclosed.
