Stabbing Mother Lands 33-Year-Old Daughter In State Prison
Alexis Wilson was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 33-year-old Downingtown woman was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison for stabbing her mother numerous times in April 2020.
Alexis Wilson pleaded guilty before Chester County Judge to attempted murder and related charges for stabbing her mother with a knife at a residence they shared in the 200 block of Highland Avenue.
Downingtown police said they found Wilson on April 12 holding a large silver knife and her mom lying on the floor in a pool of blood and blood on the walls.

The victim was taken to Paoli Hospital, where she was treated for near-fatal stab wounds, police said.
Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said the victim is still suffering from physical and emotional pain from being stabbed by her daughter.

“Nothing can erase the trauma the victim endured, but hopefully, she will be able to move forward,” Ryan said. “Thank you to Downingtown police for ensuring no one else was hurt and to first responders for their quick actions in saving the victim.”
