Strangulation Of 10-year-old Boy Results In Uncle’s Arrest in Chesco

West Chester police report suspects arrested strangulation and drunken driving in the the boroug.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 35-year-old West Chester man is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail on charges of strangling his 10-year-old nephew in a residence in the 300 block of Fox Hollow Lane.
Stephen M. Reese of West Chester was arraigned on charges of strangulation and simple assault.
Police said his uncle choked him during an argument, which led to the victim not being able to breath. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing.

These suspects were arrested drunken driving and related charges:
  • Jessica L. Allen, 36, of Tampa, Fla., is free on $5,000 bail after being arraigned on charges of drunken driving and disregarding traffic lanes after being stopped on Sept. 10, in the 700 block of Downingtown Pike.
  • William Myles, 47 of West Chester, is free on nominal bail after being arraigned on a charge of drunken driving after being found asleep in his vehicle on Sept. 18 at the intersection of East Chesnut and North High streets.
  • William Landa, 26 is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail after being charged with drunken driving and resisting arrest after he fled on his feet when police were conducting a field sobriety test on Sept. 18 in the first block of East Chestnut Street.
  • Orlando Falvo, 46, of Coatesville is free on $25,000 bail after being arrested on charges of drunken driving, recklessly endangering another person related traffic offenses. Police said he was driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 13 in the 200 block of West Biddle Street with a child in the back seat.
