Strangulation Report Results In Arrest Of Oxford Man: Police
Isaiah Rothwell remains free on bail on charges of strangulation and related offenses.
OXFORD, PA —A 22-year-old Oxford man surrendered to police Wednesday in connection to strangling a woman at 5 a.m. on Aug. 6 in the 400 block of Market Street.
Isaiah Rothwell is free on $20,000 bail after being arraigned before District Judge Scott A. Massey on charges of strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this month.
Oxford police said they interviewed a woman at the station who reported the assault on Aug. 6.
Subsequently, police said, Rothwell had fled from the area.
